A Seamless Shopping Experience

Bonsai Jiu Jitsu is an MMA fightwear brand focused on creating premium compression apparel. They sought a brand identity developed around elements of nature, flow, and the martial arts journey.

I looked for elements in real world imagery that combined elements of nature, flow, and the martial arts journey. Symbols of growth and duality were key aspects of the brand's desired identity.
Logo Design
Combining elements of a circular flow with the growth of the bonsai tree, I created a brand identity that embodied the core tenants of the martial arts journey.
The Funnel
From ad creative to abandoned cart emails, I designed the brand's full sales funnel. At the top of the funnel, ad creative was designed to show the value proposition and encourage the prospect to click. Since the brand's initial launch only included four SKUs, I included discounted bundles at the top of the collections page to maximize AOV. If prospects do not proceed to the product page, the next ad creative they are shown is based on social-proof to ease purchase anxiety and objections. If users checkout but fail to purchase, they are sent an abandoned checkout email.
The Product Page
I designed the brand's product page, using best practices in conversion rate optimization to maximize revenue. Above the fold I included product benefits, social proof, and compelling copy to peak interest. Below the fold, prospects can see more product information designed to handle objections and ease purchase anxiety. I continuously performed A/B testing to increase the store's performance.
